Pieter Hayton is an accomplished global management professional offering over 25 years of experience operating in Bmuilt Environment, Facilities and Asset Management sectors in the Middle East, Northern Africa and South Africa. Focusing on innovation, sustainability and digital solutions, Pieter is a driven and ambitious change manager dedicated to continuous business improvement focused on enhancing revenue and streamlining business operations.

Pieter is a capable senior executive with outstanding leadership and communication skills combined with an entrepreneurial spirit of innovation, drive, and market knowledge to consistently achieve challenging strategic objectives, increase revenue and deliver enhanced customer and shareholder value.

Pieter de Bruyn

Pieter is a Professional Quantity Surveyor and people developer, with a law degree and more than 20 years’ experience in Construction with experience in NEC, FIDIC and other in-house contracts. He is proficient in project management, feasibility studies, estimating, procurement, contract negotiations, drafting contracts, cost engineering, contract management, claims, dispute resolution, adjudications and arbitration. He has been involved in the petrochemical industry, building, civil, structural, mining, shaft sinking, piping, mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation and power generation (coal and waste to energy) related projects throughout South Africa, Angola, Vietnam and the UAE.

Pieter holds a BSc Construction Management degree from the University of Pretoria and a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying degree from the University of the Free State and a LLB law degree through the University of South Africa (Unisa). He is also a registered Quantity Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors (RICS) and South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP).

Carl is an innovative, creative and dynamic senior business and operations leader with over 25 years’ experience of successfully developing and implementing strategy, creating operating capability, improving on organizational efficiency and developing people and companies to grow and succeed. Previously a Captain in the South African Police Service he has gone on to develop his professional skillset working with global industry leaders in the security and secure logistics sectors in the UK, Africa, mainland Europe and the Middle East as well as running his own business consulting company.

Carl specializes in strategy formulation and implementation, driving cost-base efficiency, asset, revenue and margin protection as well as security master planning, facility design, emergency and crisis planning, DRP and various assessment methodologies related to security risk, threat and vulnerability.

Carl holds an MBA from the University of Leicester, a Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership and is a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.

Stephen Bremner

Stephen is an accomplished Senior Facilities Professional with more than 20 years of experience within the international facilities and operations management industry. His exposure and experience extend into all areas which allow him to formulate long term asset management plans and allows the realization of short, medium and long-term strategic objectives.

An MBA graduate, with a background in mechanical engineering, he has a passion for this industry, along with the primary objective of adding value to the client’s asset portfolio, based on operations excellence, founded on the support, and input from a team that are equally as passionate and capable. Stephen can take unhealthy portfolios, partner with the relevant stakeholders and transforming them into healthy and thriving ones.

His experience operating in most industries within the market and ability to adapt a solution for any type of company, be it property owner, investor, tenant, or any relevant stakeholder ensure a creative, comprehensive approach to any requirement. More than his role as a Facilities professional, Stephen is also enthusiastic about mentoring and developing talent within the facilities management industry. In particular, he is focused on ensuring formal training for all specialists and professionals who work within the Facilities Management industry. His vision for the industry extends to the adoption and formalization of Facilities Management standards by strategic government and non-government entities, thus ensuring further formalization and implementation of a consistent approach to asset management from the operations and maintenance areas and greater financial security and rewards for asset owners.
